“I discovered that while fly-fishing, I was in another place. In this place there was no cancer, no pain and no fear.” – Retreat Participant
Robbie Foley is the Co-Coordinator for Reel Recovery’s Michigan Chapter. Reel Recovery is a national non-profit organization that conducts free fly-fishing retreats for men who are currently battling, or have previously battled, cancer. These retreats provide participants a unique opportunity to share stories, form lasting friendships, gain renewed hope, and, while on the river, forget about cancer.
